The Poum Necklace is a trio of goodness. Ckoasa designed it to represent the balance between the oceans, our lands and rivers. We try to protect our environment by recycling materials that are current threats to our beautiful biodiversity. By creating unique jewellery like the Poum necklace, we aim to give such material a higher value aka. upcycling it.
The beauty behind each of our creation is that they hold core values like our love for our oceans and our willingness to protect them. Statement pieces like the Poum necklace will spark conversations about sustainability.
This necklace is made with aluminum from drinking cans that were collected in New Caledonia. The chain is made with stainless steel, a very durable material. The chain is fairly short and the pendant will fall right on your collar bones. You can therefore wear it on top of a tee shirt as well as with a beautiful V-neck top. The materials are very light, they make forget that you are wearing a necklace which is always so surprising for statement pieces like this.
